● Sabal extract:

Sabal extract is a natural plant extract derived from the saw palmetto plant. It is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-androgenic properties.



● Panthenol:

Also known as Vitamin B5, panthenol is a humectant that helps retain moisture. It lubricates and conditions the hair follicles and prevents knots and tangles.



● Hydrolysed wheat protein:

Wheat protein is rich in amino acids – the building blocks of hair proteins. It helps strengthen the hair shaft and nourishes the hair follicles. It improves the elasticity and resilience of hair which reduces breakage.



● Hydrolysed silk proteins:

Silk proteins have moisturising and conditioning properties that help improve the texture and manageability of hair. They form a protective barrier around the hair strands – reducing moisture loss, preventing damage and adding shine.



● Biotin:

Biotin – also known as Vitamin B7 – helps maintain hair growth and reduce inflammation.



● Mulberry root extract:

This extract induces the initial growth phase in the human hair follicle. It provides essential nutrients to the hair follicles and also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.



● Zinc Citrate and Zinc Gluconate:

Zinc is a mineral that plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy hair and a healthy scalp. It supports the production of keratin which is the protein that makes up the hair structure. It also regulates sebum production – keeping the scalp’s oil balanced and reducing inflammation that can contribute to hair loss.



● Vitamin E Tocopheryl Acetate: V

itamin E is a potent antioxidant that helps protect the hair follicles and scalp from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. It improves hair and scalp health by conditioning and hydrating – helping alleviate scalp dryness, itchiness, and inflammation.



● Lactamide MEA:

A conditioning agent that helps moisturise and soften the hair, it forms a film on the hair strands, enhancing their smoothness and reducing frizz.

The conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the main cause of hair loss and androgenetic alopecia (male/female pattern baldness). Hair follicles are sensitive to DHT, and they shrink and die when exposed to it. This leads to hair loss and balding.

Neutriderm Hair Enhancer Shampoo works by inhibiting the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which limits the conversion of testosterone to DHT. When DHT is suppressed, hair follicles continue to function as normal and hair loss is minimised.

Our shampoo also contains mulberry root extract. This extract contains chlorogenic acid and umbelliferone, which exert antioxidant effects on keratinocytes and endothelial cells on the scalp and promotes hair growth.
